    Welcome to Brentford Free Church

A Baptist and URC Ecumenical Partnership

We are a welcoming family church in the heart of Brentford, West London.

We have our heritage in the combined backgrounds of the Baptist Union and United Reform Churches. Ours is an exciting church: busy, multicultural, blending the new with tradition, and welcoming young and old alike. We’re also very fortunate to have large and well-equipped facilities that support so many of our activities in the church and community.

So, if you are looking for a new spiritual home, a place to worship whilst in the area, or a venue for hire, we could well be the place for you…

Please do look through these pages of information, and contact me if you have any questions.

    Revd Matt Powell

I don't know about you but my feelings fluctuate and there are times when anxiety really kicks in. Decisions have to be made as a church but also personally, and we know that decisions we make today will have an impact on what is to come.

Many feelings and emotions are in all of our lives, we are having time to reflect, but I want to encourage us all at the start of this week.

As I was thinking about you all, the situations you are all in and face, those who work for the NHS in our church and also all the other key workers at this time, as I think about some of your needs, one verse kept coming to me this morning:

Psalm 23 - the Lord is my Shepherd.

He will provide, He will guide and He will protect us.

Let me leave this Psalm for us this week and my prayer is that we all know the Good Shepherd leading us, guiding us and protecting us.

You are all in my prayers and together we will get through this and we will move on to what awaits us and we know that God works together for the good of those who love Him.

    God bless you all.
